T-UK Scottish
On the 18th May, Harry Hancox travelled all the way to Wishaw, South Lanarkshire in Scotland for the T-UK Scottish Goodwill Championships. With the best kids in Scotland competing there was a packed arena of coloured belts. Patterns were the first discipline, Harry performed three times reaching the final. Not letting the pressure get to him he saved his best for last, taking a fantastic Gold medal on the day !
Sparring was up next, merged in a bigger group Harry won his first bout 5-0. Second match was tough, he scored a two point shot in the dying seconds but only one of the three judges saw. This meant he missed out on the final by 1 point. Picking himself back up for the bronze match Harry won by 2 clear points, earning himself a Bronze championship medal.
Well done to Harry who is looking forward to the Mark Scriven Champs this weekend !
